Abacus International, Asia’s leading revenue partner for airlines, announced today the signing of a 2 years exclusive distribution agreement with Pacific Royale Airways, Indonesia’s newest full service carrier. Under the terms of the agreement which will take effect from 20th of February, travel agents within the Abacus network will get exclusive access to Pacific Royale Airways’ full range of published fares and inventory.
Tarun Trikha, Chairman and Founder of Pacific Royale Airways, expressed, "We are delighted to be able to partner with Abacus. As a full service airline we aim to distribute our seat inventory through Travel Agency and Abacus, as the largest GDS in this region.
“As a newcomer to the airline industry, we are looking for a well-established partner that can give us a boost in the right direction,” said Mr Samudra Sukardi, President Director, Pacific Royale Airways. “The partnership provides us with the platform that we need to grow our business in Asia Pacific and allows us to leverage on Abacus’ wide network of agents and solid expertise in the region. With plans for domestic flights and potential international flights to Asia, we hope to leverage Abacus dominant network to drive sales and yield.” With a fleet set to take off in March 2012, Pacific Royale Airways prides itself on redefining the flying experience for its passengers and aims to expand aggressively throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Pacific Royale Airways has permits to serve 81 routes, 30 per cent of them international, with destinations including India, Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia. “We are excited to have signed this exclusive agreement,” said Mr Robert Bailey, President and CEO, Abacus International. “Pacific Royale Airways is an up and coming airline and we will work closely with them to maximise their distribution capabilities and increase the accessibility of their fares across Asia Pacific. By tapping into Abacus productive network of agencies, Pacific Royale Airways will be able to reach multiple customer segments (high yield corporate, leisure, FIT etc) and effectively channel passengers through their three designated hubs of Jakarta, Surabaya and Batam.
